Christian Witness Theological Seminary (CWTS) is a well-established institution based in San Jose, California. Committing to equipping individuals for effective ministries, CWTS is willing to connect prospective students and the broader community with a site that fits in a contemporary lifestyle. They came to me for giving the outdated website a new look and improved functionalities, to increase their overall online presence as a seminary.
My top priority for the site is to reorganize the information architecture, making infos that are essential for students and faculties, such as the descriptions of majors and courses, clear and easy to access. It’s also important to keep the site responsive, so that it can be easily accessed by prospective students and communities. Redesigning a new design system and color scheme gives CWTS a brand new look, keeping consistency for the appearance of every section. Overall, the project has helped me learn my potential of managing various aspects of website design, to ultimately meet my client’s needs and expectations.
At this point, my design is already implemented and the site is being used by students and faculties. I’ll be supportive to keep maintaining the site with CWTS to monitor its performance and make adjustments based on their needs for new modules / pages when necessary.
